Meridianville Pit Bar-B-Q: The Ultimate Destination for Mouthwatering Barbecue

As i always say. Taste means everything to me. And the guy who cooks at this place puts his heart into making customer's come back with his love for Barbecue cooking. The owner found herself a dedicated cook , now they need to add some outside tables to eat at. It would sure upgrade the business. The meat is so tasteful .

The half-chicken and pork ribs are very good. The prices are reasonable as well. I wasn't impressed by the brisket; it seemed like it had been cooked at too high of a temperature and all the fat had been broken down instead of rendered properly. That's been true of every barbeque place I've been to though so it's not so much of an indictment against this establishment as it is against Alabama BBQ as a whole.

My brother had been raving about how great their bbq chicken was. Well I had the opportunity to finally try it, I drove by and he was like they have the best (yard bird)bbq chicken around, lol.. So I quickly made a u turn and went back but I only got 2 chickens halves, just one whole chicken Lawd what a humongous mistake Let me tell you when I walked in at home my boyfriend had just gotten home from work and was a starving Marvin lol We sat down and started eating and lawd have mercy we picked every bite of the chicken off the bones and would have eaten 2 or 4 more halves if I'd known it was absolutely ahhhmazing This was my 1st time ever eating their bbq chicken but I promise it sure won't be my last time They have the best bbq chicken I've eaten in year's! I was making a delivery down here from Nashville Tennessee and I saw a guy in the parking lot when I said to myself I got to try this place out I got a slab of ribs and brought them back to Nashville and me and my wife took care of tht slab we already planning a trip back to get more forget 5 stars we give them a ten never had ribs to melt in your mouth like these and I do ribs myself but they got me beat so if you haven't tried this place you must I promise you won't be disappointed thanks again the guy from Nashville Tennessee

Their Buttermilk Fried Chicken Tenders is absolutely amazing, easily the best I have tried. The portions are generous but still natural in size. The white sauce is outstanding and far superior to any other local option I have tasted. A must-try for anyone who enjoys flavorful chicken.

Very good, family-owned and local carry-out BBQ joint. Different flavors than the chain places and well worth the visit. Ribs are tender, smoky and delicious. If you want "authentic", here it is in spades!

Delicious potato salad. I like the simplicity of the menu. The potato salad has a tang that pairs well with their pork and their barbecue sauce. Normally, I do not care for mustard based potato salad but everything on my plate, including the delicious potato are the reasons I will definitely be making a return.. The customer service is friendly.

Wow, October 29th I placed a big order that I was taking over to my 87 year Dads house to treat him ,my mom, and brother. I ordered a four large pork platters, a full rack of Ribs all cut up , a order of Brunswick stew,. 1 turkey stuffed potato 1 pork stuffed potato Ok here is my Review of a call in order. They had my order ready with big smiles and friendly interactions..... Brought to my Family and had a Grand time with the most tender Ribs, sooo flavorful Pork plates oh sooo good. Never got around to the stuffed potatoes Or the Brunswick stew lol Pecan pie also We were more stuffed than the potatoes Great Food Great Taste Great meal to have brought to my family and not be disappointed....
